In September 2015, the General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development that includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Building on the principle of “leaving no one behind”, the new Agenda emphasizes a holistic approach to achieving sustainable development for all.

Future Educational and cultural development strengthening activity 2022 | Quality Education

Based on SDG's Goal 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all) for the year 2022, the future educational and cultural development strengthening activity was held on 30th bd/Dianagala Tamil Vidyalaya on 2022.04.30. Certificates and many other assistance were provided by the Selundhthamizh Charitable Foundation.

The main objective of this project is to make the future better by unleashing the talents of the boys.

Promoting home gardening and organic training among the people from Ampara District

SDG's Youth Council of Passara by planting around 300 plants | Passara Area

The project was carried out in collaboration with Passara SDG Youth Council by planting around 300 plants. With the support of Reforest Sri Lanka, we were able to plant Lime, Pomegranate, Soursop, Langsat fruit, Mango Steen and Curry leaf plants in those areas.

පස්සර SDG Youth Council ආයතනය සමඟ එක්ව පැල 300ක් පමණ සිටුවා ව්‍යාපෘතිය සිදු කරන ලදී. Reforest Sri Lanka ආයතනයේ අනුග්‍රහය ඇතිව එම ප්‍රදේශවල දෙහි, දෙළුම්, ඇඹුල්, ලැංසැට්, මැංගුස්, කරපිංචා පැල සිටුවීමට අපට හැකි වුණා.

சுமார் 300 செடிகளை நட்டு பசறை SDG Youth Council உடன் இணைந்து இந்த திட்டம் முன்னெடுக்கப்பட்டது. ரீஃபாரஸ்ட் ஸ்ரீலங்காவின் ஆதரவுடன் அந்த பகுதிகளில் சுண்ணாம்பு, மாதுளை, புளிப்பு, லாங்சாட் பழம், மங்குஸ்தான் மற்றும் கறிவேப்பிலை செடிகளை நட முடிந்தது.

As a part of this project, we distributed school equipment to 100 students studying at

04.Meedumpitiya No-02 T.V. (Primary). 

There We encouraged them to engage in education and had a friendly chat.
